LIPOSUCTION

Liposuction removes fatty tissue below the skin to create a leaner, more contoured appearance. It can be performed on many areas of the body including the neck, arms, back, abdomen, hips and thighs, and is often done at the same time as other procedures. Liposuction can address stubborn areas of fat that are not responsive to diet and exercise. Depending on your individual goals, liposuction can range from a small procedure to enhance one area to a longer procedure for more extensive contouring.

ABDOMINOPLASTY

Abdominoplasty, or tummy-tuck, is a transformative procedure to address the full abdomen. The procedure specifically addresses both excess tissue (fat and skin) of the abdomen and muscle separation. Every abdominoplasty is different, and the right procedure for you will depend on both your anatomy and your goals. Excision of excess tissue usually involves a traditional abdominoplasty incision from hip to hip. Dr. Culver always makes this scar as low as possible to be well hidden under your underwear or a swimsuit. Some patients require an extended scar to address excess tissue over the hips, and some may only need a shorter scar with a mini-abdominoplasty approach. If any diastasis (separation) is present between your abdominal muscles this will be repaired.

ARM LIFT

Arm lift surgery, or brachioplasty, removes excess tissue (skin and fat) from the arms usually from the shoulder to the elbow. Excess skin in this area is common, especially in those who have lost weight and also with normal aging. Excision of the arm tissue does require a scar along the inner or back of the arm. The surgery can be extended to also address excess tissue of the chest wall under the arm, which is common to fully address some patient’s goals.

THIGH LIFT

Weight loss, normal aging, and genetics can all contribute to excess skin and tissue of the thighs which can be uncomfortable with exercise and wearing clothing, and also lead to a less aesthetic contour of the legs.  Thigh lift surgery removes excess tissue (skin and fat) from the inner thighs. Usually the incision will go from the groin to the knee to fully remove the tissue, but some patients do not need this full incision for improved contour. Depending on your anatomy and goals, you and Dr. Culver will decide which incision is best to give you the best contour after surgery.

LABIAPLASTY

Many women desire a change in their labia for both aesthetic and comfort reasons. Labia can appear stretched or lower hanging due to genetics, aging, pregnancy and childbirth, or injury. Depending on your goals and the treatment plan you and Dr. Culver create, labial rejuvenation can take place in the office under a local anesthetic or in the operating room.

MOMMY MAKEOVER

Mommy makeover surgery addresses any part of the body affected by pregnancy, childbirth and breast feeding. Most commonly a mommy makeover includes a breast procedure and abdominoplasty. Labiaplasty is often included as well for a full rejuvenation. Dr. Culver’s priority is to fully meet your mommy makeover goals. After a detailed discussion of your history and goals, you and Dr. Culver will develop a surgical rejuvenation plan to restore the most confident and beautiful version of yourself.
